Dr. Ahmer Akbar Memon

Dr. Ahmer is a highly qualified General, Hepatobiliary and Laparoscopic Surgeon, he has more than 20 years of experience in surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmer has worked as a Consultant General Surgeon in some of the world's leading medical facilities in France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, as well as Muscat and Pakistan. A Master's degree in General Surgery was obtained by him in Pakistan, while another master's degree was completed in Hepatobiliary Pancreatic surgery. Additionally, he was a Fellow in Laparoscopic Surgery from India (FMAS) and a Fellow in American College of Physicians and Surgeons (USA). As a medical professional, he has worked at some of the best medical institutions in the world, including Bon Secours, Metz, France, Hammersmith Hospital London, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University. He has performed a wide variety of high-risk and challenging cases in General surgery, Upper and lower GI surgery, and Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery with living and cadaveric donors. He gained knowledge and skills in tertiary referral hospitals with Trauma and Emergency during his seven years in Muscat Sultanate of Oman Armed Forces hospital. Furthermore, he has published more than 15 articles in indexed journals, presented numerous papers at international conferences, and taught postgraduates and medical students in his field.
