He got his bachelor's in medicine and bachelor's in surgery (MBChB), College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, June 1997.

QUALIFICATIONS AND AFFILIATIONS

He got his bachelor's in medicine and bachelor's in surgery (MBChB) from College of Medicine, University of Baghdad in June 1997, after he finished his residency program in General Surgery, he was accredited the Arab Board in General Surgery in 2005.

His Specialty of interest is weight reduction "Bariatric Surgery", He has done many procedures for weight reduction including Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy & Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass whether alone or in combination with other procedures like Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy or Hernia Repair, also revisional surgery for patients who have weight gain after Sleeve or Bypass or have heart burn.

In addition, he has experience in treating overweight and mildly obese patients with medication which can also benefit weight gain after previous weight reduction procedure.

Furthermore, he has also experience in other laparoscopic procedures like Lap Chole "Gall Bladder removal" Laparoscopic Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Appendectomy in addition to advanced Laparoscopic Procedures like Laparoscopic Splenectomy & Laparoscopic Adenectomy.
