Dr. Louay H. Zayed

Dr. Louay H. Zayed is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, in Alexandria University, where he earned his Doctorate degree in OBGYN. During the course of his studies in France, he successfully earned his Fetal Medicine Diploma as well as his Diploma of Ultrasound in OBGYN, both from the famous Descartes University, Paris, France. He is currently residing in Dubai, UAE where he is a consultant of obstetrics, Gynecology, IVF and specialized in Maternal-fetal medicine. With over 20 years of experience, he helped in reassuring thousands of pregnant ladies, performed hundreds of challenging and life-saving fetal procedures like intrauterine fetal blood transfusions, amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, among others. With special interest in cases suffering from delayed conception and recurrent pregnancy losses, both diseases globally on the rise, he also helped many couples achieve–with the help of God- a successful pregnancy through IVF, intrauterine insemination and other fertility modalities. During his career, Dr Louay H. Zayed played multiple roles in the area of healthcare management. He was Director of a governmental regional medical & research institute and He was founder and director of one of a handful of private fetal medicine centers offering advanced services in Egypt. He was head of department of Fetal medicine in multiple private facilities in UAE as well. He has many local and international publications, co-edited teaching books and participated -as a trainer- in many training workshops. He is a member of pertinent international organizations in the field of fetal medicine and is recognized as a Key local figure in the field of maternal-fetal ultrasound.
